Testimonials

Thank you for all of your support. I know God used you to
make a difference in the women at the Single Mom’s
Conference. Thank you for helping my dream, of helping
single moms, come true. I appreciate everything you have
done. God bless each lady on your ministry team.

Grace knows her material and lessons. She brings extra
information and encourages us in many neat ways. – Lots of
work for us! Thank you, Grace, for all your hard work to
allow us to more specially “Experience God”! ~ Shannon, OH
Grace’s teaching manner is contagious in her enthusiasm.
She is dynamic, caring, insightful and knowledgeable. I’m
so glad I attended the Women’s Conference.

My daughter, Taylor, was really moved by your teaching at
the Tea (as were all of us who attended). Thank you for
coming and sharing your love for the Lord and knowledge of
His Word with us. May God bless you and your ministry
always.

Grace, what a joy to hear you speak at the Thankfulness
Tea. Your message was so very
inspiring
~ such a reminder to those of us who have been Christians
for many years of what we need to be doing to improve our
“walk with Christ” but also to help bring others to Christ.
To hear your message was a special joy ~ especially with
your tight time schedule ~ but yet you find time for God
and for others.

"Grace's teaching on "Delight yourself in the Lord" was so
uplifting. She reminded me that Jesus' presence in my life
IS the joy of my salvation. I was encouraged to spend time
with Him, to get to know Him better and then I would find
my delight in Him. I came away from the teaching session
desiring to know the Lord better and to ask Him for wisdom
in my daily life; to serve Him because of His great love
for me! Thank you, Grace, for letting Jesus' love flow from
your life!
~ Renee, Iowa
Grace truly has a gift of speaking. The love of the Lord
shines through her. The Lord has gifted Grace with words
that I think will reach so many ladies in everyday life.

My favorite part of the Women’s Conference was “the rock,
with a cross on it” – a visual for “laying down my burdens”
~ Chantel, NC
Each time I hear Grace teach / lead, I learn more about
myself that I need to improve or change to better serve.

What a joy to finally get to hear Grace Garrett speak as
she led worship of our Lord. Having known Grace in the work
setting, I knew she has a heart for God but I was so truly
blessed as she presented His Word to a group ranging in age
from young children to grandparents. She speaks with such
love and respect for our Heavenly Father, genuine gratitude
for His life and sacrifices for us as His children, and
enthusiasm and urgency to share His Word so that everyone
might hear and believe. A very genuine servant of God who
is unashamed of the Gospel and committed to sharing her
love for the Lord as she ministers not only through her
“Delight In The Lord” ministries but also in her every day
life. This is a lady who is truly called of God to be a
blessing to others.
~Your sister in Christ, Becky, NC
The first time I heard Grace speak was June 2007 at a WMU
Johnston County meeting that our church, Hocutt Memorial
Baptist was hosting. She spoke on the subject of is your
cup half full or half empty and she provided measuring cups
for each lady. I remember thinking; ‘WOW’ she was right on
target! I love to listen to speakers who provide visuals.
Next, I heard her speak at our first Women on Mission’s
meeting in October 2007. She spoke on “Radical God – Doing
Radical Things” – Acts 1:8 and encouraged each of us to
reach our world for Christ. She graciously agreed to speak
again for our Ladies Tea. When I told her our theme, ‘When
I was a Child’ based on I Corinthians 13:11, she came up
with a message that blended perfectly. Her message from
Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone
would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his
cross and follow me.” The title of her message was ‘Follow
Me and Pass It On’. There were many positive comments from
our ladies who attended the tea. We hope that some day in
the future, Grace can come again and speak to our ladies.

“I have
truly been blessed through “Delight in the Lord
Ministries.” I am so thankful to be a part of such a
wonderful ministry full of Godly women. To be able to enjoy
and express my insights on what God has done for me; and to
be able to share it with others is such an awesome feeling.
I tell you, this ministry is starting to be a great
learning experience for me and I am so thankful for it. I
will trust that God will move powerfully throughout this
ministry and bless other Godly women and myself as well.”
Praise God!

God is a gentleman, and His voice was heard and spoken
clearly thru my sister, in the Lord, Grace. It was a
privilege to be apart of the seminar.
Grace, I
feel that God lead you to this study just for me. Although,
I am still concerned about my daughter's health, I have a
peace that lets me know that God is in control. No matter
how many appointments are canceled and rescheduled weeks or
months later by the doctor's office; that it will all end
as God has planned it. Thanks again.

Mom's Conference ~ Sept. 2006
“To walk into a place and feel such love, no judgements,
etc. was amazing. The free childcare was pretty great, too.
I left feeling recharged emotionally, mentally and
spiritually. Not to mention the tummy was quite happy!
Y'all spoiled us with all the gifts. That was definitely
unexpected. The chocolate on the table…nice touch! Thank
you to everyone!”
