Extraordinary Women Conference — Live Via Satellite!

On Saturday, September 13 women across North America will
crowd hundreds of auditoriums, church sanctuaries and halls
to hear an inspirational line-up of speaking and musical
talent LIVE via satellite on CCN.
In conjunction with Church Communication Network (CCN) and
the American Association of Christian Counselors
(AACC),
Delight in the Lord Ministries brings
Extraordinary Women 2008 to a local audience on Saturday,
September 13 from 8:30am (registration) – 4:30PM.
Featuring speakers Angela Thomas, Karen Kingsbury, Thelma
Wells, Carol Kent, and musicians Charles Billingsley and
Richie McDonald — EWomen 2008 offers women a day of
encouragement, laughter, and music, not to mention personal
and spiritual growth.
“Women are constantly giving. EWomen is a chance for them
to have God pour back into their heart and experience being
a band of sisters in the Lord,” says Julie Clinton,
President of the 10,000 member Extraordinary Women’s
Association and wife of Dr. Tim Clinton, President of the
American Association of Christian Counselors in Lynchburg,
Virginia.
Angela Thomas, featured speaker and author of Do You Think
I’m Beautiful says, “So many women out there are 'just
living.' They're keeping the schedules, running their
homes, keeping up with work loads, and going through the
motions, but deep inside there's a nagging emptiness.”
Angela and her colleagues want women to know that they are
noticed, known and cherished by God.
Featured speaker and author Karen Kingsbury is a USA Today
and New York Times best-selling author. Several of her
recent novels, including; Like Dandelion Dust, A Thousand
Tomorrows and Gideon's Gift are currently under production
as full-length movies with major motion picture companies
and will be appearing in theaters soon.
From times of singing in a dark closet to the founding of a
national women’s mentoring ministry, Thelma Wells' life has
been a courageous journey of faith. A dynamic speaker and
storyteller, Thelma became the first black woman in the
South to organize her own international speaking and
consulting corporation.
Carol Kent is a servant of God and she knows she is exactly
where He wants her. Carol’s vibrant personality and joyful
spirit make her one of the top Christian communicators
today.
