Delight in the Lord Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Cierra Crowe. ​​In the summer of 2015, at the age of 18, Cierra visited Uganda for 3 months as a volunteer with an organization there. She loved the culture and people and felt God calling her back to Uganda. The desire to start her own non-profit organization began in 2013. So, when she returned home from Uganda that summer of 2015, God allowed that desire to come true, but it was not without much research and reaching out to so many people who provided help. In November of 2015, God allowed Delight in the Lord Ministries to become a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

As we begin 2022, Delight in the Lord Ministries (DLM) begins its 7th year of ministry in Uganda, Africa. DLM is a faith-based, non-profit organization registered in the US and in Uganda. DLM’s vision is to establish a Christian boarding school that provides a nurturing environment, offers a Christian based education, and teaches Biblical discipleship for the sponsored children.

Cierra now calls Uganda home! One to two months of the year, she returns to the States to visit family and friends and to share about DLM and to fundraise. God has quickly grown His ministry beyond what she could have ever imagined, and she cannot wait to watch as He continues to be glorified through Delight in the Lord Ministries.
