DLM Newsletter July 2022
I arrived in the US on July 6 for a 5 week visit. The main purpose for my visit was to do some important stateside ministry work. Thankfully, we were able to squeeze in a mini family vacation to Helen, GA. When I make my return trip to Uganda in early August, my mama and Ashley will be accompanying me.
We enjoyed a couple of days in Helen relaxing and enjoying the food.
2022 Appreciation Dinner and Special Announcement Event
The Lord blessed us with a wonderful evening on Tuesday, July 19th as we honored our supporters with a delicious meal and shared the future plans of the ministry.

The physical, academic, medical and spiritual challenges of our sponsored children were presented.
The Vision to build a Christian boarding school was shared.
The Plan, including floor plans for a ministry home and the Christian boarding school, was revealed.

Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds a house, they labor in vain who build it.” We definitely believe this is God’s work, and we are privileged to join Him in this exciting ministry!
We were blessed to have a segment with Dal Cannady on WTOC on Friday, July 22nd. Mrs. Joy Waters, a board member, and I were interviewed by Mr. Dal for that segment. Check out the article and video in the page linked below.
As Delight in the Lord Ministries embarks on this building campaign for the DLM ministry home and the DLM boarding school, we need GIVERS to support this building project. So I am asking you to please give as God leads so that we can move forward with these plans as God provides. Our initial, short-term goal is $159,600 for the ministry home.
