Brick by Brick...Support What God is Building!
If you missed our November 18th Fundraising Event, please take a look at two videos from that evening. https://www.delightinthelordministries.org/copy-of-the-plan
We are so thankful to be moving forward with the Building Program to construct a Christian Pre-Primary and Primary Day School. Our current Brick by Brick Capital Campaign is to build two classroom blocks in 2026. Block One will include four classrooms and a library. Block Two will include four classrooms and a computer lab.
The Brick by Brick Capital Campaign goal is $184,000. In less than six months, we have received $132,487.17 of this amount. To complete both classroom blocks this year, we need $51,512.83! If you feel led to give, please use the link below.

Secondary Students Return to School and Walls Going Up
On February 12th secondary students returned to school! It's an exciting time for them. So this morning I left home at 4:40 am with my driver to take a few of our students to their school. We reached their school at 10:00 am. After handling a few administrative things with the school, my driver and I left the school at 11:00 am. We finally arrived home at 4:00 pm. The students and DLM are so thankful for our sponsors who pay for them to receive an education.

I returned home to find the team starting on the walls. It’s so surreal to see, and I just thank God for each and every person who has given for this to become a reality! I pray God always receives the glory!
First Bible Study of the Year, Planting Beans, and Construction
On Sunday, February 18th, a couple of sponsor kids and I attended my church in Kampala. Bible study in Kabowa began today! This was our first gathering for 2026 with many of our sponsor kids and others from the school attend. With just a short amount of time, I shared the gospel message with them, and then they played Heads Up Seven Up and Bingo. Snack time is always enjoyable! May God work this year in the lives of these kids through His Word!
With raining season soon approaching, I continue to help Mama Dora and her kids plant beans. Now, I’m even the one digging with the hoe, not just throwing the beans. Haha! I tell them we do everything, even tiring work, for the glory of God! I’m very thankful for opportunities to live life with my neighbors, whom I love dearly.
Progress continues on the classroom block. The foundations and slabs of both blocks have been completed. The walls are going up on the first block and could be finished by the end of next week. Please pray for the remaining funds so we can finish both blocks!
Glory to God Alone!
Volunteering at the local government school
Friday, February 20th, was my first visit to the local government school for this school year. The excitement was mutual in seeing the kids again! Students returned to school for the 2026 academic year just a few weeks ago.
On Monday and Tuesday, I was back at the government school helping some kids in Primary 1 by making dotted words that were on the board for them to trace over. One little boy practiced the letter “A” for 30 minutes and finally came close to writing a letter that resembled "A". During the lunch hour, he came to me with some paper he had found in the compound and his pencil to show me that he could write letter “A”. It was heartwarming to see his excitement as I cheered for him when he got it correct!

In Primary 6, I taught a lesson on Religious Education by sharing the Gospel and having them write in their books the message from the board. Teachers were out that day so I was the substitute teacher for almost an hour and half for that class. I thank God for the opportunity to continue sharing the Gospel message to children that have never heard it. Glory to God!
The construction team is making great strides with the classroom blocks. We have reached the ring beam level of the walls. Tomorrow, they will continue with three more rows of blocks on top of this level. Then, the walls for the first classroom block will be complete! Praise the Lord for providing the money through His people! Thankful! Grateful!

Students from the local government school are coming to greet me!
